Haroon Yasin, Hassan Mujtaba Zaidi, and Mahnoor Syed, the three young Pakistani citizens have been presented the esteemed “Queen’s Young Leaders Award” by Queen Elizabeth II in a ceremony held recently in British capital.
The award was an acknowledgement of the youngsters’ great community service efforts. Queen’s Young Leaders Awards are for the young frontrunners from across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and Americas.
Of the winners’ squad, Hassan Mujtaba is the originator and executive director of Discovering New Artists (DNA) discoveringnewartists.org/artforchange/. DNA is a non-profit organisation established in year 2011 in Pakistan that delivers free-of-cost schooling to the unfortunate children of the society.
Mahnoor Syed initiated this establishment, circulated the word to offer workshops and has also toiled with Khwajasira Support Program.
