Advocate General Sindh Resigned

Advocate General of Sindh, Barrister Zamir Hussain Ghumro, and Additional Advocate General Sindh, Malik Naeem Iqbal, submitted their resignations  as reported by the local media.

Ghumro had been serving the post for over two years. He informed that he submitted his resignation to the Sindh government earlier as well but was asked to continue his job in the interest of the province.

Ghumro stated in his resignation that he was glad to have served the province of Sindh for more than two years with dedication and integrity. He also thanked the Sindh government for reposing full confidence in him.

The resignation of the Chief Law Officer of Sindh government comes after the remarks made by CJP Mian Saqib Nisar on Thursday.

The CJP claimed addressing Ghumro, ‘Sindh government has finished its tenure, but you are still working on the same post.’
