Ahmed Raza to toss coin for the match between Brazil and Costa Rica

A 15-year-old Pakistani teen, Ahmed Raza, will visit Russia to toss the coin for the eminent FIFA World Cup 2018 match to be contested between Brazil and Costa Rica on June 22, 2018.

Ahmed is privileged for being the first-ever Pakistani youngster who will be officially present on the field of a FIFA World Cup Match Series.

Ahmed Raza belongs to a family in Sialkot, Punjab whose ancestors have been producing hand-stitched footballs for professional associations. Certainly, Ahmed and his father, Shabbir Ahmed, are both keen football supporters, and Raza’s participation in the FIFA World Cup 2018 is an achievement of their most wished-for dream.

Ahmed is a dedicated fan of Neymar Jr. and the Brazilian football team, and will have the chance to meet his hero and much-loved sportsmen soon.

Kaleemullah, the captain of Pakistan’s national football team (men), will be accompanying Ahmed on his trip to Moscow, Russia, for the FIFA World Cup 2018.

Two-times Academy Award winner and film-producer, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will be captivating the stage centre to celebrate and document Ahmed’s trip all through from the streets of Sialkot to the FIFA World Cup Stadium. Ahmed Raza’s documentary will be featured on screens in July 2018.

Pakistan will witness for the first time in history, one of its young national performing a coin-toss for the most distinguished sports teams of the globe on June 22, 2018.
