Alia Bhatt is the daughter of director-producer Mahesh Bhatt and yesteractor Soni Razdan. She is the step-sister of Pooja Bhatt as she was the first child from Mahesh’s second marriage to Soni.
Alia is part of the Bhatt clan who are known for being bold, raw and vivacious. They do not shy away from talking about bold topics in their movies. They have also led life unapologetically on their own rules. Pooja Bhatt was known for being a rebel and so was Mahesh Bhatt himself. So Alia Bhatt was expected to be the same by the people.
Alia made her film debut with Karan Johar’s student of the year in 2012 alongside Siddhart Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. Ever since then, she has been in the news for her alleged romance with Siddhart.
On a professional front, she is one of the youngest superstars of the industry. In a very short span of time and at a very young age, she has managed to achieve stardom with several super hit movies like Highway, Udta Punjab and Raazi. She has also received several awards including the Filmfare and IIFA.
For a person who is so young in age, already a superstar, filthy rich and coming from a film family who is bold and daring – one would expect Alia Bhatt to be the same. Ironically, she is the total opposite.
She has been in the news off late for her relationship with Bollywood hunk Ranbir Kapoor. After many appearances together, Ranbir recently accepted his relationship with Alia in an interview to a film magazine. This only happened last week and the fans went into frenzy.
Now Alia Bhatt has spoken about her preferences for love relationships. Shocking everyone by saying the opposite, Alia accepts to be an old soul who believes in the institution of marriage and having a family with your partner instead of opting to go down the modern route and live-in together.
Whilst we are surprised at Alia for saying this, we are definitely much impressed too. It seems like that a very young age she has found love with Ranbir and is finally thinking about settling down the right way. May be we can expect to hear wedding bells for Ranbir-Alia sooner than we thought?
