Andres Iniesta will play his last FC Barcelona's game today at Camp Nou

Andres Iniesta bids farewell to FC Barcelona after 22 years.

Iniesta is a Spanish footballer and has played 723 games for his club. He joined Barcelona in 1996 then Barcelona B in 2001 and Barcelona’s A team in 2002. He has been playing for FC Barcelona since 2002 with 62 goals to his name.

Andres Iniesta has performed remarkably well in all his games for the Catalonia club but his goal against Chelsea proved to be his career’s highlight. He scored the late winner to make Barca reach final and later they won the UEFA Champions League in 2009.

He has not only been good with the club’s record but he scored the only goal in last minutes for Spanish national football team at World Cup 2010 final and lifted the trophy.

Iniesta has always been the key midfielder and player for FC Barcelona and it is an emotional moment for the club and its fans to bid farewell as he says goodbye.

Despite signing a lifetime contract with the club, Iniesta announced that he will leave FC Barcelona and 2017/18 is his last season at the club.

FC Barcelona will honor its club legend with a mosaic at Camp Nou today and we are excited to see what this emotional roller coaster ride will be like.

Nike will also pay tribute to Andres Iniesta and has made a special pair for the midfielder to wear for tonight’s game against Real Sociedad.
