The Bridal Couture Week is the official trend radar for the wedding season, and like every season, this year’s couture week was a roller coaster ride of new trends, reviving timeless old classics and revamping some delightful cuts with a flair for boldness. 

We’ve compiled an exciting round-up of all the new and classic bridal trends that are trending hot on the fashion radar so you can create an elaborate and trendy wedding wardrobe.

Velvet Dreams

A luxurious festive winter wardrobe simply cannot be complete with elaborate pieces of velvet, and the haute couture radar is obsessed with this fine fabric in bright colors. Velvet has been displayed in a gorgeous variety of cuts, and I strongly urge you to immerse in the timeless charm that this fabric has to offer.  

Ethereal Whites

It's funny how most brides shy away from white on their wedding day when it is the most timeless shade for effortless elegance. This season, designers have flooded the runways with ethereal pieces of white and these designs are absolutely mesmerizing. Silver work, Kashmiri embroidery, gold metallic embellishments and bead work are some of the most prominent techniques that were paraded with angelic white color palettes.  

Swanky Metallics 

Designers: Nilofer Shahid, Mehdi. 

Metallics are trending hot all over the globe, and this bridal season, you simply cannot miss out on the swanky charm that these shiny delights have to offer. A metallic saari is a great pick to make an elegant statement, while a gold metallic ghaghra chooli is bound to make you stand out in the crowd!  

Navel Fetishism

Navel-revealing lehenga choolis, translucent tunics, bralette-like saariblouses, and midriff-baring A-line shirts were all the rage on the runway, and the glamorous ensembles put forward by haute couture designs literally had our temperatures soaring. Ladies, if you want to flaunt a trend that is bold, audacious and drop dead glamorous, it simply doesn’t get any sexier than this one! 

Fifty Shades of Blue

Blue has officially emerged as the most celebrated color of the season, and we spotted over fifty different shades that you can flaunt this wedding season. Sky blue, azure, navy, amethyst-blue, purplish-navy and pale pastel blues have all garnered the approval of the Pakistani couture maestros.   

Feisty Reds

A bridal trousseau is incomplete without the traditional glamour of reds, and this season, reds have been revamped with an edgy bold attitude that is making us swoon with joy. Bold wine reds, berry hues and dark shades of burgundy are always a timeless classic to make sure your wedding look is the hottest couture statement you ever flaunt.  

Front-Slits

We’ve spotted an exciting new trend on the fashion radar, and it’s a refreshing breathe of fresh air: the front-slits are definitely here to stay. A-line shirts have always been common and popular, but the front-slit trend is paired up with navel-revealing bralette-like shirt, or even a full-length gown as showcased by HSY.  

Bridal Reds & Earthly Tones

Pink lovers, here’s some good news: pink is trending super-hot this season, and be it rose gold, shocking pink or pastel, this is a color you simply cannot go wrong with.

The temperatures may be dropping but the sizzling glamour of off-the-shoulder and cold shoulder statements only seems to be getting bolder. This wedding season, get ready to bare those finely sculpted beauty bones with bold shoulder patches and audacious one-shoulder statements.
