Daenerys Targaryen says Goodbye to ‘Game of Thrones’

We are all eagerly waiting to watch the upcoming and final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. We all are…right?

It seems that the shooting of the last season of Game of Thrones has been wrapped up as key actor Emilia Clarke wrote an emotional farewell note to the team of GOT on her official Instagram account.

‘Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #💔#lastseasonitis,’ Clarke wrote alongside a make-up free selfie clicked while lying down in a garden.

Emilia Clarke a.k.a. Daenerys Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons, in the hit award-winning series broadcasted on HBO.

As per speculations, Season 8 of GOT will premiere next year in January.

Earlier, HBO had announced a prequel of the series which would take place thousands of years before the events of GOT.

Game of Thrones, is an American hit television series, based on the novel series of George R R Martin, A Song of Ice and Fire.

Here's to the wait that'll be worth it in the end.
