England level the test series after handing over a crushing defeat in the 2nd Test

England handed a crushing defeat to  Pakistan by an innings and runs to draw series 1-1. DM Bess took three wickets while Anderson and Borad claimed two wickets apiece

Curran, however,on his 20th birthday, was out for 20 when he was caught off by Shafiq Mohammad Abbas low down at second slip .

No batsman in the innings had scored a fifty at this point- although Dominic Bess,as nightwatchman made a commendable 49 in his role .


Buttler was missed in the deep by Salahuddin on 66, the ball going for four.

The very next ball saw Buttler drive medium-pacer Faheem Ashraf for six over long-on.


Azhar Ali struck the first ball of Pakistan's second innings through extra-cover for four.

England's all-time leading Test wicket-taker,Anderson,  bowled Azhar for 11 when he played round a straight and full delivery that knocked over his middle stump.

Pakistan were 30 for two wickets down when Haris Sohail  saw a hard-hit drive off Anderson, remarkably caught one-handed by a Bess at extra-cover.

Asad Shafiq,Pakistan's experienced batsman,was a hope who have might steady the innings but in vain, when he was given out on review for five after a thin glove down the legside off Stuart Broad was caught down the legside by wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow.

Anderson had lunch figures of two for 23 in five overs.
