The Former National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza, the wife of aggressive politician Zulfiqar Ali Mirza joined the Grand Democratic Alliance GDA on this Sunday along with his husband Zulfiqar Ali Mirza.
The two former politician of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) held a meeting at the Rashdi house DHA Karachi of Pir Pagara Sibhgatullah Shah Rashdi, the spiritual leader and chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F).
Fehmida Mirza during her press conference along with Zulfiqar and Pir Pagara said that there is nothing left in Pakistan People’s Party and we need to get rid of this mafia from the province of Sindh. She invited the liberal and independent politicians from different parties to join hand with the Democratic Alliance.
Both the dissatisfied politicians from PPP government took this decision after facing the people of Badin on 15 May and earning their trust in them, her both sons, Barrister Hasnain Mirza and Hassam Mirza are looking forward to contesting in upcoming elections from Badin on GDA tickets.
She further emphasized that public should vote not to the personalities but to the politicking on genuine issues, having bright manifestos.
She talked about Educational problems the province is facing, also the health conditions that are going worst. Water scarcity would not be acceptable and Sindh should be given the required amount of water, no dams would be built on Indus River without the concern of Sindh. She said.
Zulfiqar Ali Mirza in the press conference considered his success as the joining of Fehmida in GDA.
