FIFA World Cup Group H fixture - Poland Vs Senegal, see the big players playing tonight.

FIFA World Cup will see Poland Vs Senegal in a heated up fixture at 8:00 PM (PST) tonight. Poland and Senegal will be meeting for the very first in a FIFA World Cup fixtures. 

Group H has Colombia, Japan, Poland and Senegal and only top two teams in a group will qualify for the round of 16. 

Poland

Poland and Senegal see strong and star forward in their team. Robert Lewandowski and Sadio Mane will be big players for Poland and Senegal respectively. 

Poland’s star player Robert Lewandowski has scored 16 goals in 10 games for Poland to qualify for World Cup this year. He has been exceptional with Poland and did a remarkable job with Bayern Munich, scoring 41 goals in all competitions and was the top scorer of the Bundesliga league. 

Only time can tell what Robert Lewandowski will do against Senegal tonight. Although Poland’s defensive record has been poor in the World Cup qualifying stages. 

Senegal

Liverpool’s forward Sadio Mane scored 20 goals in all competitions. He helped his team to reach Champions League final as he scored 10 goals. 

In 2002, Senegal played quarter-finals against Turkey but lost 1-0. Since then Senegal failed to qualify in 2006, 2010 and 2014’s FIFA World Cup. They are not a weak team but missing the last world cup may have been bitter.

Senegal will be one of the underdogs this year and if they sort their defensive issues well then they have a chance against big teams.
