Imran Khan's step daughter joins PTI

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman Of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan on Monday welcomed his step daughter from third wife, Bushra Maneka, to PTI.

After a meeting with her step-father, Prime Minister to be Imran Khan, Mehrunissa Hayat joined PTI, as reported by Dawn.

The event followed after Khan was officially nominated by PTI as the next Prime Minister candidate of the country in the party's parliamentary meeting.

ECP released the complete preliminary results for 270 of 272 National Assembly (NA) constituencies on July 28 and it was shown that PTI emerged as the single largest party with 116 seats.

Bushra Maneka has not been politically active since her marriage to Khan in February but she claimed that the soon to be elected Prime Minister will fight for the oppressed women, widows and orphans, and protect the nation.
