Bollywood diva Jacqueline Fernandez has suffered a permanent eye injury during the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Race 3.’
Jacqueline took to Instagram to release this news two days ago.
In a post, Fernandez shared an image of her eye which shows clear signs of damage with a caption “So it’s a permanent injury and my iris will never be a perfect round again but so so grateful I can see!! #race3 memories.”
As per Indian newspaper Times of India report, Jacqueline was injured while playing Squash during the shooting of Race 3.
Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news saying, “Yes, it was a minor injury. Jacqueline was hurt above the eye while playing squash. She is better now and has resumed shooting.”
Remo D’Souza’s Race 3, starring Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Jaqueline Fernandez, will be one of the first Bollywood movies to be released in 3D.
Jacqueline has stated that ‘Race 3’ is not the continuation of Race 2, rather it will be on a different storyline.
“It is a different story of a family where the narration has elements of mystery, power struggle, betrayal and suspense."
