Pakistan faced their third successive defeat of the Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 being held in Breda when they lost to Netherlands 4-0.The win took Netherlands at the top of the group, who lost their first game opening match against Argentina 2-1, followed by a thumping 6-1 win against Belgium. Following the 4-0 loss against India, there was a certain improvement for Pakistan in their next match against Australia despite losing the match 2-1.
The three champions were decimated by the Netherlands team, with the first two goals coming from Robbert Kemperman and Valentin Vergo, followed by two more goals by Thijs Van Dam and Mirco Pruijser.
Pakistan face Argentina next on June 28 followed by their last group fixture on June 29 against in Belgium.
