Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan begin shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'SIMBA'

Ranveer Singh is riding high on the exceptional success and praise that he received for his portrayal of Allahuddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat.

But there are no stops for Ranveer. He had two movies lined up to begin working on right after Padmavat and one of them was Gully Boy in which he will share screen space with Alia Bhatt for the first time.

Sara Ali Khan is the young, beautiful fresh face of the industry that is yet to make her debut on the big screen. Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, her debut movie ‘Kedarnath’ is scheduled to release sometime this year. No release date has been announced so far. She stars opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie and the film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor.

Back in March 2018, it was announced by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty that they have found the leading lady opposite Ranveer Singh for Dharma Production’s Simba. It is none other than the very young and very gorgeous Sara Ali Khan.

As soon as the announcement was made, there was a lot of noise in the industry because Sara had actually managed to bag a lead role opposite one of the biggest superstars of Bollywood; Ranveer Singh. As soon as the news reached Abhishek Kapoor, he filed a legal complaint against her lead actress claiming she was not allowed to sign such a big banner movie prior to the release of her first film.

But it seems like nothing can stop this mega movie from coming out. Earlier this week it was announced via Instagram that shooting of the first spell of ‘Simba’ has begun. Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan are indeed shooting together for the first time. It has also been announced that the movie will release worldwide on December 28, 2018.

Honestly speaking, we cannot wait for this one! A Dharma Productions movie that is being directed by Rohit Shetty and starring superstar Ranveer Singh and fresh-faced Sara Ali Khan; this movie is already a blockbuster!
