Russia will play in round of 16 while Egypt bids goodbye to FIFA world cup

Russia beat Egypt 3-1 in a thrilling and energetic game at the World Cup last night. 

Egypt scored an own goal to give Russia 1-0 lead at the start of second half. 

Russia played a better game and build a good set up for their second goal. Cheryshev scored in the 60th minute and led his team 2-0.

The third goal did not take too long to come and Russia was 3-0 up in just 62 minutes of the match. 

Mohammad Salah scored Egypt's only goal through a penalty in the 73rd minute. 

Russia has 6 points out of 2 games and is in a comfortable position on top of the group. They will play against Uruguay in their last group fixture on 25th June. 

Egypt bids goodbye to FIFA World Cup after losing both games in Group A. They were good in this world cup but failed to deliver the value. 

Mohammad Salah did not start against Uruguay but scored a penalty against Russia last night. 

There is no point in denying the home advantage which Russia holds. They have a big match ahead against Uruguay and to secure 3/3 wins in the group stage of FIFA World Cup 2018
