Shoaib Malik Plans To End International Career After 2020

Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik is all set to play the 2020 World T20 and may retire after the mega event. He was talking to a reporter in the Carribean Premier League and was seen saying "I want to play the 2020 World T20". He hopes that he has two more years of career in cricket and is perfectly fit to perform. 

Shoaib Malik is the most senior player in Pakistan's team these days. He has already retired from Test Cricket but continued his career in ODIs and T20. He started his career in 1999 and has helped Pakistan win a number of matches. His latest season in PSL was tremendous and he helped his team win a few matches but unclicky the team could not qualify for play-offs. 

Malik has been an integral part of Pakistan Cricket Team and is one of the most loved cricketers in Pakistan. He became quite famous after he married Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in 2010. The couple announced a few weeks ago that they are expecting their first child. 

Shoab Malik's career of 19 years has been splendid so far. He was also a part of the team when Pakistan won the first T20 World Cup in 2009 after beating Sri Lanka. He played the crucial innings with Shahid Afridi and helped his team lift the title. He has played 35 Tests, 261 ODIs and 95 T20s for Pakistan Cricket Team. 

Malik has inspired young players and helped them achieve great success in their careers. Pakistan team depends on him, whether it be a crucial innings or to get personal advice. It mightis indeed going to be sad for his fans to find out that he is going to retire within 2 years.
