Spain vs Morocco -FIFA WORLD CUP 2018

Group B of the FIFA World Cup faced curtains as Spain faced Morocco in what was considered one of the deciders before the ultimate knock out stages.

Morocco, having already been eliminated from the tournament gave the former world champions a tough time, with the match finishing with the score of 2-2. It was a beautiful depiction of end to end football, full of entertainment and thrill.

Morocco took the lead in the 14th minute when captain Sergio Ramos was dispossessed at the half line, allowing Moroccan Boutaib to score past De Gea with Morocco's first shot on the goal. Spain responded immediately as Real Madrid mid fielder converted a sublime piece of play from former Barcelona player Andres Iniesta to make the score 1-1, in the 19th minute.

The Spanish dream was felt to be in danger when Morocco scored their second goal of the game when Nesyri scored a header in the 81st minute. Spain's hope to top the group felt a significant blow but as in the first half the lead did not last long as Spanish striker Iago Aspas with the help of VAR equalised in the 91st minute.

Spain will now face the hosts Russia in the Round of 16.
