We have some amazing healthy and non-sugary refreshing summer drink recipes that are chill, cool and will not add to your weight too!

Water melon and mint chiller

Water melon and Mint chiller is a refreshingly smooth summer drink. It looks pretty and is revitalizing for the body in the severe summer heat.

Recipe:

  • Water melon, half
  • 10 to 12 leaves of fresh mint
  • A lot of ice

Remove the water melon seeds before putting it inside a mixer blender. Add fresh mint leaves with the water melon in the blender. Put ice into the blender and add half a glass of water. Mix it well till you achieve a smooth consistency.

Cucumber, Apple and Mint summer drink

Cucumber although falls in the vegetable category but it has a high ratio of water content which makes it ideal for consumption in the summer season. This drink is helpful to keep the body hydrated.

Recipe:

  • 2 cucumbers, whole
  • 1 green apple
  • 10 to 12 leaves of fresh mint

Take a pitcher of fresh cold water and add cucumbers (cut into pieces), 1 green apple (remove the seeds) and leaves of fresh mint to the water pitcher. Allow the ingredients to soak in the water for at least 2 to 3 hours. Enjoy with a few drops of fresh lime added to the glass.

Lemonade Sans Sugar

Lemonade has always been the ultimate the ultimate summer drink. It is sweet, refreshing and cool. You can make it more healthy and no-fattening by preparing it without the added artificial sugars.

Recipe:

  • 10 to 12 lemons, large in size
  • Pitcher of water
  • A lot of ice
  • Honey, 2 to 3 tablespoons

You will soak the lemons in water for at least 3 hours. This helps to extract maximum juice from the lemons. Squeeze the lemons in a pitcher of fresh water. Add a lot of ice. Add salt and pepper for flavoring. Replace artificial white sugar with a few spoons of natural honey for sweetness. Enjoy your lemonade sans sugar chilled.

Strawberry and Lemon Chiller

Strawberries are one of the most awaited summer fruits. Pretty bright red with a perfect balanced sweet and sour flavor, they make a brilliant and refusing strawberry and lemon chiller summer drink.

Recipe:

  • 10 to 12 strawberries
  • 2 whole lemons
  • A lot of ice
  • Mint leaves (optional)

Take 10 to 12 strawberries and put them inside a blender jar. You can go for fresh strawberries but this drink is made more brilliantly with frozen ones. Add a quarter glass of water to the blender and mix well. Add ice and blend again. Squeeze fresh lemon in the glass of strawberry juice. You can also add 2 or 3 leaves of fresh mint to the glass if you want to make it more refreshing.

Kiwi and Grapes cooler

Not many people like kiwi because of its strong tangy and sour taste. However, kiwi and green grapes make the yummiest summer cooler.

Recipe:

  • Kiwis, 7 to 8 medium sized
  • Grapes, medium sized bunch
  • A lot of ice
  • Half a glass of water
  • Hint of salt

Peel the kiwis and cut them in halves. Put the kiwis along with grapes in the mixer blender. Blend it well and add ice to the mixer. Blend the juice together until you achieve a bright green smooth consistent juice. You can add a small pinch of salt to the mix as well if you want to cut through the tangy juice and want some relief.
