World Cup 2018: France takes on Belgium challenge

In one of the most anticipated fixtures of the FIFA 2018 World Cup, France will take on Belgium in the first semi-final at the Saint-Petersburg Stadium.

The World Cup so far has lived up to its bill of thrills, suspense, joy and heart break. As it nears its end, 4 teams remain, who will fight for the title of Football royalty and supremacy. In the first semi-final scheduled for Tuesday 10th June one time world champions France will take on first time semi-finalists Belgium in a battle of wits, and desire. On paper, both teams have star studded teams full of world wide talent. For France it is the chance for redemption following their Euro 2016 loss. For Belgium it is their chance to prove that talent and hard work accounts more than age. We are in for a feast no doubt.

Belgium, despite the Japanese hiccup, are on an unbeaten run so far, having won all the matches including the group stages. France on the other hand has also taken a similar path but has drawn once in the group stage. While Belgium has been dominant throughout, France has been slow but steady. Two football crazy nations will go head to head in a match that will surely be one to remember. As the fans have billed it, it is Pogba vs De Bruyne, Hazard vs Mbappe, Griezman vs Lukaku and Courtois vs Lloris; a star studded fixture for a place in the grandest stage of them all. In the end it all comes to who wants it more than the other.

The matches can be viewed via FIFA World Cup 2018 live streaming, Ten sports live streaming of the FIFA World Cup 2018 and Ptv sports live stream.
